Conclusion
The Scottish War of independence in the 1300's was the first to many epic bloody battles were many brave Scottish warriors were given a honorable death all in the pursuit of their freedom/ independence. The wars and trials that Scotland has gone through are just part of the almost century long revolution in the gaining of their independence.Their revolution isn't quite over yet since they are still yet to have their independence. It is history in the making because right now, Scotland finally has the chance and is their closest at reaching their independence. It is all up to the election of 2011.
Scotland Now
The question is still wanting to know if Scotland will ever be independent from England. From the beginning, Scotland has been trying to get it's independence, but it will probably not have to have another epic bloody revolution to get there. Even though Scotland has been failing to gain independence since their first war in the 1300's , it looks like their luck is turning around. As of the elections held in June 2011, the Scotland Parliament decided to have a referendum. The labour and liberal democrats of Scotland Parliament formed a coalition and power had gone to the SNP in 2007. The elections in 2011 made it that the SNP had the majority and there will be a referendum of independence.
